Alyssa Kuhn, LCSW
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with seven years of specialized experience, I help young people navigate the complexities of ADHD/neurodivergence, trauma, and LGBTQ+ identity. I believe true healing happens when we look at the whole child, not just a diagnosis. Rather than pathologizing your child’s behavior, I look at the bigger picture assessing how home, school, and community systems shape their day-to-day well-being. I have post graduate training in trauma, adoption-competent care, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy. My approach is both compassionate and systemic. Together, we will create a safe, non-judgmental space where your child can process big emotions, build practical coping strategies, and strengthen family communication for lasting, meaningful growth.
A little about me personally: I am an avid iced coffee drinker, an indie pop music enthusiast, and proudly neurodivergent! When I’m not in sessions, you’ll likely find me spending time with my 3 boys and bichonpoo, Bruno, going to thrift shops, or bingeing my favorite TV shows under a cozy blanket.
Finding the right therapeutic fit changes everything. If you want a therapist who will gently challenge your child to learn new skills while providing deep empathy and systemic support for your family, you're in the right place. Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.”
